Annovate began with a question that has guided Annie Kwok’s work for years:
That question first took form in Annie’s Smartex, founded in Shanghai in 2019. Drawing on Annie’s experience in the advanced textile industry and her own experience as a cyclist, Smartex began developing functional-material solutions around problems people can actually feel: heat, moisture, odor, protection, comfort and durability.
Since then, Annie’s Smartex has worked with customers across 30 countries, connecting functional materials with fibers, yarns, fabrics and commercial applications.
Annovate Materials Pte., Ltd. was established in Singapore in 2025 to carry this philosophy into a broader international platform. It brings together material technologies, application thinking, manufacturing capabilities and local market knowledge so that ideas can move more effectively from material concept to real product.

Annie’s Smartex is the established functional-textile technology and product brand, founded in 2019 and serving customers across 30 countries. Annovate Materials is the Singapore-registered platform created to support broader international collaboration, market development and future cross-border projects.
Technical development, manufacturing, testing and fulfillment are carried out with qualified technology and production partners according to each project. The responsible quotation, contracting and supply entity will be clearly identified in every formal commercial arrangement.
